šµ The Harvel 5 šµ Many of our athletes recently attended the infamous 5 mile race, The Harvel 5! The annual event is a fantastic day out and very well supported. Huge thank you to the organisers, The Harvel 5, volunteers and the supporters cheering everyone on. All our athletes had a great race. Special congrats to Sophie, Laura and Gemma who won the team prize! š Go Hoops! šš©µ Photo credit šø: Trevor Newnham & various DHAC supporters ———————– See here for the original post on Facebook.

šµ Kent Schools Championship šµ Many of our U13-U17 athletes represented their school at the Kent Schools Champs last weekend at Medway. They all had amazing performances with many gaining new PBs! They also gained plenty of medals between them. U15 and U17 athletes who placed in the top two were selected to represent Kent today at the intercounties in Crawley. We wish them all the best especially on such a hot day! Go Hoops! šš©µ ———————– See here for the original post on Facebook.

šµ Social Run šµ Our athletes don’t only run together during training and competitions, sometimes they get together just because they love to run! One of our coaches recently organised a very scenic social run. This is a great way to get everyone together in a more relaxed vibe. They could enjoy chatting away whilst taking in the views on a sunny day. They then finished off enjoying a coffee together! Running doesn’t have to be just competitive, the social and health benefits are just as important (if not more so) as medals and PBs!
