Last YDL Upper of the season and our athletes smashed it! Not only in track and field but also in team spirit! 🔵 Parkrun Tourism – June 🔵 June was another busy month for our parkrunners. 🔵 Au revoir Grace 🔵 Last night was Grace’s last training session with the group before she begins her next adventure! We’d like to wish her all the best with her new life in France and hope she continues her running journey! Grace is part of the Hoop family and will be missed, especially by her training group. Whether it’s a marathon, parkrun, local run, cross country or just training on the track Grace always has a smile on her face! 🔵 YDL 2025 Upper Age 🔵 The 2nd YDL Upper of the season for our U17 and U20s was held at Kingston. Our team was lighter than we would have liked, as many were revising for exams, however those who could attend had great performances and as always incredibly supportive of each other. Many gained new PBs and SBs and finished in the top 3. Thank you as always to our fantastic athletes, their family and supporters and of course the volunteers, organisers, officials and our amazing coaches. 🔵 YDL 2025 Lower Age 🔵 The 2nd YDL of the season for our U13/U15s was held at Brighton a couple of weekends ago. Our young athletes had a great day with many gaining new PBs, SBs and finishing in top 3 positions. Overall we finished in 3rd place! 🥉 Huge thank you to the athletes, the parents/carers who bring them and all the volunteers, organisers, officials and coaches.
