π΅ Kent County Athletics Vets Championships π΅Saturday was this years Kent Masters Cross Country Champs held at Central Park, Dartford. The event was a huge success. Well managed with fantastic marshals, officials and organisers. Thankfully the course conditions and weather was perfect! We didn’t have too many athletes compete this year but those who did ran a great race and enjoyed the day. We had 2 athletes finish in top 10 for their categories and our W45 team finished in 4th place.M40 – Chris (16th) and Stuart (25th)M50 – Reuben (9th) M70 – Robert (18th)W35 – Sophie (6th)W45 – Kerrie (11th), Donna (21st), Sally (31st) and Karen (32nd)Special well done to Sally and Karen who only recently joined our Beginners and Beyond running group and made their XC debut! They ran with fellow group member Donna and Sophie who is their coach. This is a great example of how the beginners running group not only gives our athletes the techniques to improve how they run but also the confidence to compete for their club! π€©Go Hoops! ππ©΅Full results: www.kcaa.org.uk/race%20results%2024.htm
