๐ต DHAC 2026 Easter Egg Collection ๐ต Wishing everyone a very HOOOPY Easter! ๐ฐ๐ฃ A huge thank you to our amazing members who this year donated an egg cracking 84 easter eggs, 4 boxes of chocolates and 8 packs of small easter eggs to Darent Valley Hospital (DVH). Our Club President Gurpreet and Club Secretary Loraine dropped them off. Half were delivered to the Paediatric ED, with the other half being given to the Dementia Specialist Nurse to distribute to the Hospitals elderly patients. DHAC love supporting our local community. ๐ต DHAC 2025 Awards ๐ต On Friday we held an evening celebrating our 2025 club award winners. It was a fun way to get together off the track to socialise and celebrate each others achievements. ๐คฉ We also held an athletic related quiz, spot the athletes from baby/younger pics, correctly guess the closest to where GB’s Jonathan Edwards jumped the triple jump World record of 18.29m in 1995 and an epic paper aeroplane contest (who knew that could be quite so competitive ๐)! It was a fun evening and we are already looking forward to celebrating our 2026 winners when the season ends! ๐ Huge thanks to our fantastic committee for giving up so much of their time to prepare and host the evening and for our awards committee for selecting and managing the awards. ๐ A list of our winners is in the comments. ๐ Go Hoops! ๐๐ฉต ———————–

๐ต SAL ๐ต Match 3 of the Southern Athletics League (SAL) was held 13th July at Mile End. Fantastic performances from our Hoops. Finished 3rd in the league table, only missing 2nd by 3 points!
