Sprinting

Introducing some of our Coaches

Terry is a specialist in sprints, running technique, marathons & endurance. 

He has been a qualified coach for 15 years, including organising annual running training camps and participated in various UKA training days including strength & conditioning, nutrition, physiology and England national junior training.

Currenly he is studying as UKA official and Qualified First Aider.

In his career as an athlete, Terry has won marathon bronze medal at 2016 World Master Championship in Perth, Australia/

Gary has been coaching since the early 90’s and has a wealth of knowledge to pass on to athletes. He is qualified as UKA Level 3 Coach in Jumps, Sprints & Throws, and he still competes himself, mainly in jump and sprints.

Other qualifications and roles include: Level 3 Field Judge, Level 2 Track judge Level 1 Starter & Level 1 Endurance

In addition, he undertakes a number of roles within the club, including Club President and Equipment Officer. Outside of Dartford Harriers he is a KCAA Executive Member and Officer for Track and Field, and SportsHall athletics.
